EVENT FORMAT:

A public site conference was held to inform Berliners about the redevelopment of Tegel Airport. Over the coming years, a research and industrial park for urban technologies will be developed on the site of the former airport, along with the “Schumacher Quartier,” providing new housing for the growing capital.

AREA OF EXPERTISE:

AGAVE.network was commissioned to handle the conceptual and technical preparation as well as the implementation of the 8th Site Conference. Responsibilities ranged from selecting the location at the Westhafen Event & Convention Center Berlin and event design featuring innovative wayfinding by the tape art collective “KlebeBande,” to technical planning and on-site management. In addition to the creative and technical aspects of the event, AGAVE.network was also responsible for the dramaturgical flow, including event direction.
